ISMG Announces National Nursery Brokerage Division

SAN DIEGO, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Jun 5, 2006 -- US Farms, Inc. (ISMG) is pleased to announce the Company has established a Nursery Brokerage Division called American Nursery Exchange (ANE). ANE will begin operations today and intends to supply horticulture products to the grocery, garden center and home improvement industries on a national level.
ANE has leased its first facility located in North County San Diego, California, a 100,000 sq. ft. green house and 10,000 sq. ft. warehouse which will be used for growing as well as staging orders for its customers.
According to the California Association of Nurseries and Garden Centers, California is the number one state for both nursery and floral crop production and retail sales for the industry. California dominates the nation's lawn and garden industry ringing up $3.44 billion in production sales and $10.32 billion in retail sales during 2004, approximately 21 percent of national retail sales. The state's wholesale production represents 21.3 percent of nation's production. The association represents the 3rd largest agricultural crop in California but when combined with floral products, it is the second largest crop in the state. Florida is second with an 11.9 share of the nation's production.
American Nursery Exchange believes it can capture a large share of business by focusing on it customers needs and by focusing on niche markets within the industry.
